Kling 4.0 Pricing
Kling 4.0 on Kling4 is paid for in credits: 3 for every second of video at 720p and 5 at 1080p. Buy a credit pack once or subscribe for a monthly allowance, then check below what a single clip costs either way.
Plans and credit packs
Plan credits last 30 days. Cancel at any time; there are no hidden fees.
What each purchase unlocks
Lite, Pro and Premium run Kling 4.0 at 720p and 1080p, and every job on them costs fewer credits: 10% fewer on Lite, 30% on Pro and 40% on Premium, rounded to a whole credit.
Among the packs, Creator, Studio, Max and Agency unlock Kling 4.0 at both resolutions, along with Kling 3.0, Kling O3 and Kling 2.6 Motion Control; Kling 3.0 Motion Control needs a plan. The $29.9 Starter pack unlocks no Kling model on its own: its credits only work alongside a Lite, Pro or Premium plan. If you want Kling 4.0 without a subscription, start with Creator at $49.9.
Free and Lite accounts, and accounts that only hold packs, render one video at a time. Pro runs four at once and Premium eight. A render is charged only when it finishes; if it fails, the credits it held go back to your balance.
Kling 4.0 cost per video
| — | Credits | Creator pack | Credits on Pro | Pro, monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 s · 720p | 15 | ≈ $2.00 | 11 | ≈ $1.60 |
| 10 s · 720p | 30 | ≈ $3.99 | 21 | ≈ $3.05 |
| 15 s · 720p | 45 | ≈ $5.99 | 31 | ≈ $4.50 |
| 30 s · 720p | 90 | ≈ $11.98 | 63 | ≈ $9.14 |
| 5 s · 1080p | 25 | ≈ $3.33 | 18 | ≈ $2.61 |
| 10 s · 1080p | 50 | ≈ $6.65 | 35 | ≈ $5.08 |
| 15 s · 1080p | 75 | ≈ $9.98 | 53 | ≈ $7.69 |
| 30 s · 1080p | 150 | ≈ $19.96 | 105 | ≈ $15.23 |
How the dollars are worked out: Creator is $49.9 for 375 credits, so one credit is $0.133 and a clip costs its full credit count. Pro is $29 a month for 200 credits ($0.145 each), and Pro jobs take 30% fewer credits. Billed yearly, Pro is $174 a year for the same 200 credits a month ($0.0725 each), which brings a 5 s 720p clip to $0.80. US dollars before tax, from the live plan list on November 3, 2026.
Kling 3.0, motion control and reference video
| — | 720p | 1080p | 4K |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kling 3.0 and Kling O3 | 2.5 | 4 | 10 (Kling 3.0) |
| Kling 3.0 Motion Control | 3 | 4 | — |
| Kling 2.6 Motion Control | 2 | 3.2 | — |
| Kling 4.0 with a reference clip | 1.8 | 3 | — |
Motion control bills the length of your motion reference. Kling 4.0 with a reference clip bills the output length plus whichever is longer, the reference or the output, so 5 s of video from a 5 s reference is 10 billed seconds; reference images add nothing. 4K on Kling 3.0 needs Premium, or a Kling-enabled pack on an account with no plan. Kling 3.0 Motion Control needs a Lite, Pro or Premium plan.
What Kling AI charges directly
Kling AI sells credits in its own app and per-second units to developers on its API. We read its public pages on November 3, 2026. Where a price is not on those pages, the table says "not published" rather than repeating figures from elsewhere.
Per second, Kling AI's own API lists Kling 3.0 below what Kling4 charges. Kling4 pays for every render through the official Kling API and adds its margin on top. In return you get a browser workspace with no integration work, and one credit balance that serves both the web app and the Kling4 API.

Try one clip before you pay
You can render a Kling 4.0 clip with no account and no card: 5 seconds at 720p with a watermark, one every 24 hours for each IP address and device. A Cloudflare check runs when you press generate, and free clips wait in a queue behind paid ones. Start one from the Kling 4.0 generator.
Building something of your own? The Kling 4.0 API spends the same credits at the same rates, so a pack or plan bought here covers both. Refund terms are in the refund policy, and the older model has its own page at Kling 3.0.
Kling 4.0 pricing questions
How much does a Kling 4.0 video cost?
A 5-second clip costs 15 credits at 720p and 25 at 1080p; a 30-second take costs 90 or 150. On the Creator pack that works out to about $2.00 for the short 720p clip and $19.96 for the long 1080p one. Plans charge fewer credits per clip: on Pro the 5-second 720p clip takes 11 credits, about $1.60.
Do credits expire?
Yes. Credits from a monthly plan expire when that billing period ends, and a yearly plan adds a new batch each month that lasts 30 days. Pack credits are counted from the purchase date: 180 days on Starter, 365 days on Creator, Studio, Max and Agency. Unused credits do not roll over, and each job spends the credits closest to expiry first.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 3 days of a new purchase, as long as none of its credits have been used. Email support@kling4.video with your order number. Payment fees of up to 4% plus $1.50 are kept back, and any credits left from that order are removed. Renewal charges are not refundable, so cancel before the renewal date. Credits held by a failed render return to your balance automatically.
